The Salon Transitional Program
A retreat-inspired transitional home that provides trauma- informed care to female-identified individuals living at the intersection of domestic violence and HIV/AIDS. We are a supportive community that helps build strong and independent women. We believe that gender equity is HIV care and are rooted in an empowerment model. The Salon aims to ignite motivation, considers joy as a teachable skill, connects isolated women to a supportive and safe community while constructing new reference points for what a healthy life can feel like. Our work begins by creating hope.
